A 2008 GMC was traveling southbound on Frankford Avenue and began to drift into the northbound traffic lane. The GMC sideswiped a 2017 Audi, then struck a 2009 Nissan head-on, spinning the Nissan into a 2013 Ford. The GMC then made contact with the front end of a 2015 Ford and came to a rest.

The Audi, Nissan and 2015 Ford were all traveling southbound on Frankford Avenue in the southbound lane. The 2013 Ford was parked unattended on the east side of Frankford Avenue, facing northbound.

The driver of the Nissan, a 61-year-old woman, was pronounced dead on the scene by a fire department medic unit at 9:32 a.m. She was later identified as Anna K. Brewer, from the 2900 block of Tyson Ave.

No other injuries were reported.

The GMC was towed by police. The Nissan was also towed. All other vehicles sustained minor damage and did not require tow.

Video was recovered. No charges have yet been filed. ••
